The A&E department is very happy to announce that Dr. Kendra Jernigan is joining our family.  Below is a little introduction from her.

My name is Kendra Jernigan and I grew up outside of Pittsburgh, PA. I attended Abilene Christian University for my undergraduate degrees in Environmental Science (Field Technology) and Spanish. As a Wildcat, I studied abroad in Honduras and Uruguay. I earned an MS in Plant Breeding from Texas A&M University. My husband, Daniel, graduated with a degree from LeTourneau University in Longview, TX. We then moved to Pullman, WA where I obtained my PhD in Crop Science from Washington State University. I have had the privilege of being an Assistant Professor at the University of Mount Olive in eastern North Carolina for three semesters.

I love spending time in God’s creation, reading, baking, and cooking. My husband and I enjoy hiking and traveling together as well as serving in our church community. We are thrilled that God has opened the door for us to join the ACU family. We look forward to seeing how God will use us and what new adventures this season of life will bring! Go Wildcats!
