A&E New Home on Campus

Each new semester brings changes. With the news of a department location change, the A&E family was sad to leave their home in Zona Luce, which is being renovated to house ACU’s first on-campus nursing school.

“I miss the old building and having it all to ourselves,” said Melinda Brown, senior environmental science major from San Antonio, Texas. “I like the new space. It’s big and bright.” More »

Dr. Mills receives NACTA highest honor

Dr. Foy Mills was named a Distinguished Educator by the NACTA Executive Committee in June 2012 at the organization’s conference in River Falls, Wis.

“He is a gifted and dedicated educator who is very deserving of this recognition and honor, said Dr. Ed Brokaw, professor of animal science and A&E department chair. “I have known Foy for more than 25 years and was delighted to be able to recruit him as a member of our faculty in 1989.” More »

Department Relocation

On March 5, it was officially announced to A&E students that their departmental home would be relocated from Zona Luce to the south wing of the Hardin Administration Building.

Beginning his 36th year as an ACU professor, Dr. Ed Brokaw bears a new title. Announced at the end of last semester, he is not only a Professor of Animal Science, but also the A&E Department Chair.

His goals as Chair are to get organized, build on the current progress and continue to enhance the curriculum. More »
