Deadline: July 17, 2015
This scholarship requires a 500- to 1000-word essay on the following topic:
“What is the most significant development in military law in the past two years?”
Additional essay guidance is provided on the scholarship provider’s website. In short, the scholarship provider wants applicants to select one significant development and focus their essay around that topic. You should discuss why you feel that this development is significant, how it has impacted those in the military and their families, and perhaps share a bit of the history of the law surrounding this development.
One thing to keep in mind: the scholarship provider is a law firm that defends members of the United States military—so, they are going to know their stuff. If you want to win, make sure that your essay is well researched and well thought through. Remember, you’re writing about a topic that these guys are experts on!
To be eligible for this scholarship, you must meet the following eligibility requirements:
- Must be currently enrolled in a college or university or planning to be enrolled in the fall of 2015
