Looking for a way to sell your paintings, prints, drawings, or photos? Need to clear out your “inventory?” Emineo is an online art gallery and marketplace that’s focused on representing university students. It was started by an ACU student (Thomas Griffin), and he’s already sold the work of several Art & Design majors. Here’s the official blurb about Emineo:
Emineo Art Gallery provides a platform for artists to stand out and let their style and voice be heard. It is our mission to serve as a launch-pad for artists’ ideas and careers. Emineo was born from a desire to fit the needs of college students. We provide the tools and networking to better display and promote college students’ art by managing the logistics, marketing, and transactional processes of selling art. Prior to Emineo, students were often forced to compromise their dreams of being a successful artist, as time, monetary, and management costs were too high for the individual artist. By managing these processes for several artists, we have significantly reduced these costs to a sustainable level. Emineo collects information about a piece, evaluates its condition, assists in pricing and promoting the piece, manages the sale and shipment of the piece, and finally, manages the growing customer base with newsletters and promotions to attract long-term supporters of students’ work. As more artists join Emineo the network grows, capturing a larger audience of prospective buyers.
