Miller touts federal shield law

Judith Miller, the New York Times reporter who recently spent 85 days in jail for refusing to divulge a source, called for a federal shield law today at the annual convention of the Society of Professional Journalists in Las Vegas.

Journalism Department Chair Cheryl Bacon and two students are there for the convention.
