There’s been some question about the Research Paper Prospectus. The idea is you are telling me what you’re going to research, and you have to have done enough research to know about the topic. The information you need to know about that is in the syllabus here. You should plan on doing a paper in line with the subject matter you chose, but I’m fine if someone wants to do another topic with my permission. You can find topics here but you can also just do a comparison of the American and European, German or British laws on the subject. And you can find a sample prospectus here.
The primary grading criterion will be thoroughness. I’ve tried to make this easier by allowing you to combine class presentation preparation with the paper preparation.
