Saw this ad today by Domino’s Pizza in which the chain references a 2000 appeals court decision in a lawsuit against Papa John’s slogan “Better Ingredients. Better Pizza.” Domino’s lost the suit but now is using the findings that those claims were advertising “puffery” in its own television ad.
