This is analysis, so it contains opinion. But it raises important questions. Do teachers give up the rights to write about certain topics when they sign on to teach? (Plus, this story was written before the teacher was even hired.) Can he no longer write about sexual topics or types of violence other than school shootings? Can he no longer glorify alcohol, drug use or or tobacco use because of his position?
