Unlikely Disciple at ACU

Since I was assigned to examine worldview for a two-week presentation with Dr. Tracy Shilcutt, I kept looking for interesting books on the subject. This summer I ran across a new book by Kevin Roose entitled The Unlikely Disciple, a secular student who spent a semester at the world’s largest evangelical Christian college. His book raises some very important questions for us to consider about worldview. Watch the following trailer and then take a minute to read an excerpt from the book.

QUESTIONS FOR REFLECTION

  • What is your definition of a “Christian Worldview”?
  • What is the difference between worldview and a Christian Worldview?
  • What would a non-Christian’s experience be at ACU? Is ACU a hospitable place to live, study, and develop for students of any religious, ethnic, or national background?
  • In your opinion, how does scripture respond to this topic concerning worldview?
