The ACU Foundation Blog Disclaimer

You knew there had to be a disclaimer somewhere, didn’t you?  You can’t have a web presence these days without one.  So, here’s ours.

The blog (blogs.acu.edu/foundation) and website (theacufoundation.org) of The ACU Foundation provide information and educational content, often regarding legal, financial, and investment issues.  Nothing on either the blog or the website should be construed as legal or investment advice, or the practice of law.  If anything you read about on our blog or our website causes you to think about making changes to your current estate plan, financial plan, or anything else related to your life, your family, or your assets, please consult your professional adviser.  If you take any action or make decisions based solely on the information on our blog or website, you do so at your own risk and The ACU Foundation is not responsible or liable for those actions or decisions, or the consequences resulting therefrom.

If you do not have a professional adviser, please contact us.  We will be glad to talk with you in detail about your personal situation and/or help you locate a suitable professional adviser.  We do not recommend specific advisers, and we do not solicit, accept, or take compensation from advisers under any circumstance.  We do, however, know a great number of advisers all over the country in the fields of law, financial planning, accountancy, and insurance.  We will be happy to provide a list to you.

We do our very best to make sure that the information we put on the blog and the website is accurate and truthful and up-to-date.  However, The ACU Foundation and the writer of this blog make no warranty, express or implied, about the accuracy of the content here.  The law changes frequently.  Information on this blog may be current at the time of posting, but do not assume that it will be current at the time you read it, or will remain current indefinitely.

All content on the blog is written by employees of The ACU Foundation, primarily by Chris Sargent.  Any opinions expressed in any post on the blog are the personal opinions of the writer, and do not necessarily reflect the opinions or positions of Abilene Christian University.   If the writer of a post links to content outside of acu.edu, blogs.acu.edu/foundation, or theacufoundation.org; then Abilene Christian University, The ACU Foundation, and the writer of the post are not responsible for the content on that third-party website, and do not necessarily approve of that third-party content.

Thus endeth the disclaimer.
