As the semester comes to a close, the new members of GATA have been officially inducted. We are all so excited to finally call the pledge class of 2014 our sisters. Welcome “Diamonds in the Rough.”

We would like to thank all that joined us for Homecoming Breakfast. We would also like to thank all the support GATA has received. It was an amazing weekend for all of us. We are proud to wear the Red and White. Here is a little recap.

This year, GATA had three nominees on the court. Our president, Kai Cremer, vice president, Meigan Gardner, and pledge mom, Morgan Beckmon.

Our float director, Heather Markgraf and our 68 flames won Women’s Club Homecoming Float.

And our president Kai Cremer was crowned 2014 Homecoming Queen. This is the second year in a row GATA has won Homecoming Queen.

We are proud to be a GATA.

The year has just started and the new officer team is working hard. GATA did a wonderful job at Teas this year. We are excited for this new year and what we can make of it.

GATA just spent a wonderful weekend with our fabulous alumni, Nika Maples and Becky Brooks, at the Heart of Texas Baptist Camp. We were so blessed by Nika and Becky as they shared their testimonies and how GATA has continued to impact their lives. We had beautiful weather as we worshiped together, bonded as sisters and shared so many laughs. What a great way to start to bring the semester to a close with our sisters!

The women of GATA and the men of Frater Sodalis came together for a night of bowling and fun. There were lots of laughs, some strikes and quite a few gutter balls!

GATA was proud to unveil our beautiful new letters for the alumni at this year’s Homecoming breakfast! They looked fabulous on the field for ACU’s Homecoming football game, but we will continue to love and treasure our past set of letters!
