Pat Miller, wife of Dr. Emmett Miller, was transferred today from Hendrick Medical Center to continue her improvement in its rehabilitation hospital in Abilene.
Miller was one of 16 members of the ACU community who were passengers in a Nov. 4 bus accident. She stayed two days in Hendrick’s in-patient hospice care in mid November before beginning a remarkable turnaround.
Naomi Cruz, a freshman from The Woodlands, continues to make progress in a rehabilitation hospital near her hometown.
