    Dear Kathleen,
I’ve recently moved from Corpus Christi to San Antonio to work for ACU. Knowing you are from Rockport makes you feel like one of my own. You are on my heart and in my prayers, but please know the entire ACU community here in San Antonio and the surrounding South Texas areas, are holding you in their hearts, as well. We will be praying for your continued strength and healing.
Kathleen, thank you for caring about the children at the Medina Home. Thank you for your love for those in need and we pray that we can be here for you in your time of need.
    Blessings, Kathleen,

    Dear Kathleen,
I am so thankful to God for sparing you and for sparing us all untold grief! All I kept thinking was that God is doing that fiery refining work of deepening your soul to make you more fit for a deeper service to the body of Christ and to lost and hurting souls. But I’m comforted by the fact that when the gold is in the fire, the Refiner of souls sits very close to the furnace, nay, even walking around in it Himself, watching until He can see His reflection in His precious gold, then turns off the heat–no more than is necessary!
I love you so much! You’re one of my own and I am mindful of you all the time and praying.
    Love,
    Mrs. Carter

    My dear Kathleen,
We had heard of the accident, but had no idea you were one of the students on the bus till tonight when I got a message from your mom. We thank God for your life and we know he still has much to do through you. Take it easy and rest in your heavenly Father’s arms as he heals your body and strengthens you. I get together with some moms on Friday mornings to pray for Tuloso Midway, and we will be praying for all of you. LOVE YOU:)
