    Naomi,

I recall so clearly seeing you and your mom in the spring (at the ACU event here in Houston)…so ready and excited to get to ACU. I am so proud of you and know that God has mighty things for you to do!

I pray that our God and Healer will continue to hold you in the palm of His hand. Lord, please heal Naomi…just as you knit her together in her mother’s womb, knit her together now as only you can. May your family truly have the “peace that passes understanding” that comes from our heavenly Father.

I will see you soon. Please contact me directly with any request or need.

    Blessings!
    Carri Hill

    Naomi,

We don’t know much about your condition other then you are still in the hospital. I just wanted to let you know that so many of us are praying for you, and love you. God’s arms are wrapped around you holding you and he will never leave you. I know that we have not met, but I am a sister in Christ who also attends ACU. If you need anything just let me know. I would like to help in anyway I can, even if it is a home cook meal for you and your family as you are in recovery. Just know that no matter what pain you are going through right now, you are healing in the name of the Lord, and we all are praying with out ceasing. Praying for a quick recovery, and peace in his loving arms.

I was blessed to get to have a time of sharing and prayer with your family Sunday. I am so thankful that your condition has stabilized enough to be transported….that was one of my fervent prayers for you. Please know that our family will continue to lift you and your family to our heavenly father daily.

Naomi, what a joy to have met you on Saturday, your mom and dad too. What a sweet family you have. The Lord loves you and needed you to fulfil His plan, we don’t know why, but we know, He knows, I pray that surgeries go well and healing is quick. Sometimes life takes a turn that is very different than what we would expect, and we ask why, and we get all caught up in expecting God to answer us. But He is God and doesn’t answer to anyone, nor should He. So i say TRUST, LOVE, ACCEPT,AND EXPECT GOD to be faithful to what He has promised, that He will never leave you or forsake you. Be strong and Courageous, in your trust and love for your Heavenly Father. He knows what is best for you. Love tiffany’s mom, donna

My daughter is a freshman soccer player at ACU. You’ have all been in my prayers, in concert with my Bible Study prayer warriors.. As a fellow parent, it just hit me so hard to imagine the shock of the phone call and how you’ve spent the last days. I’ll continue to lift prayers for you, Naomi and her healthcare team, that her healing will be led by God and his Spirit over all

I am praying too for your family, I am an ACU mom who lives in Austin- my daughter Rebekah is a junior. Thank y’all so much for all the prayers y’all today I’ve confirmed that Gods hearing them and answering them quickly and working miracles in my recovery… I just got back from my doctors appointment with my orthopedic surgeon and trauma doctor… My trauma doctor discharged me today so I don’t gotta comeback to see them… And my orthopedic surgeon told me that I can start putting weight on both my arms and pivoting on my right leg for transfers and in a month when I come back and everything continues to look good then I can start walking… If that’s not good enough news get this… He told me that once I come back on January 6 if everything looks good and he let’s me start walking… As long as i can find a rehab center in Abilene I can return to school In the spring :D

Naomi, I love you so much! Your strength and faith in Jesuscrist has made you strong! You are reflecting Gods image in your smile.

I want to thank everyone that has prayed for my daughter. God’s hand has moved in an extraordinary way in her recovery. He is AWSOME! Our family has truly taken hold of this text 2 Cor. 1:3-4. To all my daughters at Nelson and Gardner who I am honored to have been called Mama Cruz for, a great big thank you and a kiss for all your support in your cosntant prayer, your delightful post it, your cards of encouragement, and in staying in contact with Naomi.

You are all her sisters, to the RA’s I met. Always believe in Miracles and if you forget, just remember November 4, 2011.

I have no words, just graditude for you all. Thanks to all my family at ACU that I did’nt even know. Bob Straitor for pacing the surgery halls, Carri Hill for her 1st pizza, Mr. Mills for bringing me baked goods (credit to whitney)and thank you my dear Heather for giving of yourself without even a smurk!
