Teaching and Learning Specialist
The Adams Center has named Amy Boone as its new Teaching and Learning Specialist. Amy holds a bachelor’s degree in Communications from ACU and a masters degree in Education from HSU, and she brings experience in both teaching and curriculum design. Amy has shared her research on differentiated instruction in various professional presentations and publications and has taught in both online and face to face environments. We look forward to working with Amy in our pursuit of excellence in teaching and learning. Welcome to the Adams Center Amy!
Assistant Director of Educational Technology
Stephen Rektenwald(‘99) comes to ACU as the Assistant Director of Educational
Technology after 18 years with Abilene ISD as a teacher and then coordinator of Abilene ISD’s Instructional Technology department. Stephen graduated from ACU with a Bachelors in Mathematics Education where he met and married his wife Josie(‘99). He has since been blessed with two children. Stephen completed his M.Ed. in Educational Technology Leadership from Lamar University and has presented on technology
applications and teaching techniques at state and regional conferences. Welcome aboard Stephen!
