Mac Ice will begin in a new tenure-track faculty position as Director of Special Collections and Archives at ACU on June 1, succeeding Dr. Carisse Berryhill, who has served both as Associate Dean of Archives and Collections since 2017, and before that (2011-17) as Associate Dean for Digital Initiatives, Special Collections, and University Archives. Dr. Berryhill will continue in a tenured faculty position as Special Collections Librarian
At the same time, administrative oversight of Library Technical Services will return to Dr. Mark McCallon, continuing in his role as Assistant Dean of Library Information Services. Shan Martinez will continue as Director of Technical Services, which will now also include leadership of User Services (Interlibrary Loan and Circulation).
