Discover what God wants for your life and leadership

Leadership Summit was established in 1998 in the College of Business Administration at Abilene Christian University.  Summit is a one-week, 3-credit course held in the picturesque scenery of Colorado.  The course blends academic rigor with an environment ripe for deep, personal, and lasting encounters with Jesus.

What Are Leadership Summit Students Saying?

“Leadership Summit provided me with some of the most emotional, powerful, bonding experiences I’ve ever had.  I made one of the best friends of my life.  I met one of the best mentors of my life.  It showed me how to be a good person first.”

“So many amazing speakers and I learned so many tools for the business world.”

“Summit exceeded all my expectations.  It was so beneficial in how it gave me examples of how to be Christ-centered.  It also gave me so many new perspectives and tools on how to see life as a Christian leader.”

“It was the most spiritually moving experiences I’ve had at ACU.  It was very clarifying without judgment and with vulnerability.”

Summit FOUNDERS

In 1998, Leadership Summit was founded by Tim Johnston, Mike Winegaert, and Dr. Rick Lytle.  This dynamic team of godly people desired to create a program and experience where students would be challenged to commit their lives fully to Jesus Christ as they prepared to enter the marketplace.  Conducting this program in the mountains was a strategic choice to get students away from the noise and distractions of life and to embrace the noble mission of being faithful leaders in the workplace.
