The Fall semester is just around the corner!!

Lots of activity on campus while you are away. This update will keep you informed on what’s happening in Student Life, as well as whom to contact as you also prepare for a successful fall term.

Student Life is moving from McKinzie to the lower level of the Campus Center!
You may have heard near the end of the spring semester that the decision was made to renovate the lower level of the Campus Center to house the Student Life offices that currently reside on the first floor of McKinzie West. Our team is very excited about this move! This move will include the offices of Residence Life, Multicultural Enrichment, Retention, SOS/SOAR, Associate Dean, and the Vice President of Student Life.  Demolition of the old bowling alley and construction this summer will lead to completion of the new offices by October. This transition is directly related to the construction of the new science facilities. Once Student Life moves, the McKinzie West offices will house the Psychology Department, which enables the department’s faculty and staff to be in closer proximity to their clinic as they leave Chambers Hall. Chambers Hall is being eliminated to make room for the newly designed science facilities.

Looking forward to your return…classes begin August 25th!!
