Four in 10 U.S. adults are now caring for a sick or elderly family member as more people develop chronic illnesses and the population ages, a new study has found. (Huffington Post). Yesterday, the Area Agency on Aging of West Central Texas hosted the Family and Professional Caregiver Symposium at Southern Hills Church of Christ. The event presented information, uplifting messages from professional speakers, and networking opportunities.
