Innovations and Adjustments to Specific Courses

One of my major aims in teaching is to continually look for opportunities to grow and develop as an instructor. I take my role to guide students in their intellectual development in the areas I teach very seriously. And, I aim to do so in a way that is both supportive and challenging.

Below I reflect on my growth as an instructor and provide illustrative examples of changes I have made to specific courses based on student feedback over time. I focus specifically on courses that I have taught multiple times in a similar format (e.g., in-person classroom multiple times versus once in an in-person format and once in an online format). My most in-depth and detailed reflections center on Strategic Management as this is the course I have taught most frequently since I began my role at ACU (two sections each semester since Fall 2016).
