Unfortunately,\u00a0that is no longer enough. Today, faculty must not only be\u00a0masters of their subject; they\u00a0must also master instructional\u00a0design, educational technology, and accreditation standards. Keeping up with the\u00a0newest trends in social learning, contextual education, or\u00a0MOOC madness may lead\u00a0many faculty to wonder what happened to good old-fashioned classroom lectures\u2014or to classrooms at all!
