He<\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"color: #000000\">will also be named the Director of the Center for Restoration studies replacing Dr. Doug Foster<\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"color: #000000\">who retired last year. Dr. Crawford received his Ph.D. and MA from Vanderbilt University in<\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"color: #000000\">2008, MDiv from Abilene Christian University in 2002, and BA from Lubbock Christian<\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"color: #000000\">University in 1998. He currently serves as the Senior Minister at the Glenwood Church of Christ<\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"color: #000000\">in Tyler Texas. Previously, Dr. Crawford served as an Associate Professor of Church History at<\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"color: #000000\">Lubbock Christian University. Many GST students will know Dr. Crawford\u2019s outstanding<\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"color: #000000\">teaching gifts because he has taught two church history classes online since 2012. Some of his<\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"color: #000000\">publications and presentations include:<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"color: #000000\">\u201cRace and Racism in American Christianity.\u201d In Shadows of Slavery, edited by James<\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"color: #000000\">Gorman, Mark Hamilton, and Jeff Childers. They have four children, Anna, Elizabeth,<\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"color: #000000\">Luke, and Benjamin. Wes brings strong academic credentials, experience in the classroom, and<\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"color: #000000\">ministerial leadership gifts to our students.
