Using the campus account will reduce students&#8217; burden of having to deal with multiple systems.<\/p>\n<p>If you have difficulty logging into the ACU account, please let us know.<\/p>\n<p>Migrating content from your individual Canvas account to the ACU account is fairly easy:<\/p>\n<p>First, export your course from your individual account. Check <a href=\"http:\/\/guides.instructure.com\/m\/4152\/l\/41323-how-do-i-export-a-canvas-course\" target=\"_blank\">this tutorial<\/a> for instructions. Once the content has been exported, save it to your desktop, and close the window for this individual account to avoid confusion.<\/p>\n<p>Second, import the exported package into your ACU account. \u00a0I could not find a Canvas guide for this, but here are the detailed sub-steps:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Log in to acu.edu\/canvas with your ACU user name and password;<\/li>\n<li>Go to your course (contact us if you need a shell);<\/li>\n<li>Go to &#8220;settings&#8221;\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/blogs.acu.edu\/adamscenter\/files\/2015\/03\/Screen-Shot-2015-03-18-at-9.04.59-AM.png\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-3575\" src=\"http:\/\/blogs.acu.edu\/adamscenter\/files\/2015\/03\/Screen-Shot-2015-03-18-at-9.04.59-AM.png\" alt=\"Settings button\" width=\"68\" height=\"28\" \/><\/a><\/li>\n<li>Choose &#8220;Import Content into this Course&#8221;<a href=\"http:\/\/blogs.acu.edu\/adamscenter\/files\/2015\/03\/import-content-into-this-course.png\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-3576\" src=\"http:\/\/blogs.acu.edu\/adamscenter\/files\/2015\/03\/import-content-into-this-course.png\" alt=\"Import content\" width=\"269\" height=\"390\" srcset=\"https:\/\/blogs.acu.edu\/adamscenter\/files\/2015\/03\/import-content-into-this-course.png 269w, https:\/\/blogs.acu.edu\/adamscenter\/files\/2015\/03\/import-content-into-this-course-207x300.png 207w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 269px) 100vw, 269px\" \/><\/a><\/li>\n<li>The next few steps take place on the same page (see screenshot below).\u00a0You will need to:<br \/>\n1)\u00a0Choose &#8220;Canvas Course Export Package.&#8221;<br \/>\n2) Click on &#8220;Choose File&#8221; and choose the file you just exported.<br \/>\n3) Click on &#8220;All content&#8221;(or &#8220;Select specific content&#8221; if desired).<br \/>\n4) Click on &#8220;Adjust events and due dates&#8221; which will bring forward another window to ask if you will &#8220;Shift dates&#8221; or &#8220;Remove dates.&#8221;\u00a0Choosing\u00a0&#8220;Shift dates&#8221; will require that you set a new beginning date and a new ending date.<br \/>\n5) Click on &#8220;Import&#8221;.<a href=\"http:\/\/blogs.acu.edu\/adamscenter\/files\/2015\/03\/import-steps.png\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-3581\" src=\"http:\/\/blogs.acu.edu\/adamscenter\/files\/2015\/03\/import-steps.png\" alt=\"Import Steps\" width=\"753\" height=\"645\" srcset=\"https:\/\/blogs.acu.edu\/adamscenter\/files\/2015\/03\/import-steps.png 753w, https:\/\/blogs.acu.edu\/adamscenter\/files\/2015\/03\/import-steps-300x257.png 300w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 753px) 100vw, 753px\" \/><\/a><\/li>\n<li>You will then see the import being processed. \u00a0Wait till it is done.<a href=\"http:\/\/blogs.acu.edu\/adamscenter\/files\/2015\/03\/Screen-Shot-2015-03-18-at-9.32.05-AM.png\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-large wp-image-3582\" src=\"http:\/\/blogs.acu.edu\/adamscenter\/files\/2015\/03\/Screen-Shot-2015-03-18-at-9.32.05-AM-1024x127.png\" alt=\"Import running\" width=\"1024\" height=\"127\" srcset=\"https:\/\/blogs.acu.edu\/adamscenter\/files\/2015\/03\/Screen-Shot-2015-03-18-at-9.32.05-AM-1024x127.png 1024w, https:\/\/blogs.acu.edu\/adamscenter\/files\/2015\/03\/Screen-Shot-2015-03-18-at-9.32.05-AM-300x37.png 300w, https:\/\/blogs.acu.edu\/adamscenter\/files\/2015\/03\/Screen-Shot-2015-03-18-at-9.32.05-AM.png 1048w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 1024px) 100vw, 1024px\" \/><\/a><\/li>\n<li>You will see the\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/blogs.acu.edu\/adamscenter\/files\/2015\/03\/Screen-Shot-2015-03-18-at-9.32.16-AM.png\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-3583\" src=\"http:\/\/blogs.acu.edu\/adamscenter\/files\/2015\/03\/Screen-Shot-2015-03-18-at-9.32.16-AM.png\" alt=\"Complete button\" width=\"116\" height=\"34\" \/><\/a>button when the job has been completed.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>The final step is to go\u00a0through\u00a0your course page by page and make adjustments as needed.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>If you previously used\u00a0a free Canvas account to teach your courses, please take some time to\u00a0migrate the content to the ACU Canvas environment at acu.edu\/canvas.
