I might be &#8220;typing&#8221;. \u00a0Voice recognition technologies have made it possible for us to input by simply speaking. Here are a few examples:<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li><strong>&#8220;Type&#8221; on a mobile device:<\/strong><br \/>\nOn your iPad or mobile phone, press the microphone icon to dictate in notes, emails, or other applications. Make sure you check the results later on. \u00a0You may need to edit the content. Dictate in Google Docs:<\/strong><br \/>\nGoogle Docs now allows you to dictate as well. \u00a0It is called &#8220;voice typing&#8221; under &#8220;tools&#8221;. \u00a0Give it a try. \u00a0It is fairly accurate.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-medium wp-image-4258 alignnone\" src=\"http:\/\/blogs.acu.edu\/adamscenter\/files\/2016\/06\/GoogleDocs-239x300.png\" alt=\"Google Docs Voice Dictation\" width=\"239\" height=\"300\" srcset=\"https:\/\/blogs.acu.edu\/adamscenter\/files\/2016\/06\/GoogleDocs-239x300.png 239w, https:\/\/blogs.acu.edu\/adamscenter\/files\/2016\/06\/GoogleDocs.png 586w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 239px) 100vw, 239px\" \/><\/p>\n<p>3. <strong>Generate video subtitles:<\/strong><br \/>\nIf you upload a video to Youtube, Youtube can automatically transcribe your voice into subtitles which you can then improve into\u00a0more accurate ones. The automatic process saves you at least half of the time compared to doing it from the scratch.
