THE BACHELOR OF ARTS DEGREE<\/p>\n
The Bachelor of Arts degree provides opportunity to major in art within the framework ofa liberal arts degree. The greater latitude allowed by the BA core allows several different\u00a0interdisciplinary art majors, as well as a general major in art. Students pursuing a BA in art\u00a0should choose a major from the following: Art, Graphic Design\/Advertising, Art\/Marketing,\u00a0Art for All-level Teacher Certification, Interior Design, and Pre-Architecture.\u00a0This major is for the student who wishes a major in art while retaining a large number\u00a0of elective hours for a second major of the pursuit of other academic interests.<\/p>\n
Credit requirements for the BA with Art Major are as follows:<\/p>\n

Academic Advance Courses do not count for elective credit.<\/p>\n

Fine Print: Art hours transferred may not exceed 24 of the 45 required art hours for the BFA degree; at least 24 advanced\u00a0studio hours must be taken at ACU. Furthermore, 25% of all hours taken and the last 24 hours taken must be taken at\u00a0ACU.
