The curriculum is designed for those interested\u00a0in how technical and aesthetic aspects of interior design affect a diversity of populations in\u00a0residential and non-residential environments. The curriculum prepares students with unique\u00a0problem solving techniques to creatively plan and design environments that protect the\u00a0health, safety and welfare of building occupants.<\/p>\n<p>University Core __________________________ 41 hours<\/p>\n<p>BS Degree Core ___________________________ 15 Hours<\/p>\n<p>Major Requirements<\/p>\n<p>DSGN 141, DSGN 242, DSGN 243, DSGN 245, DSGN 248, DSGN 343<\/p>\n<p>DSGN 345, DSGN 346, DSGN 347, DSGN 349, DSGN 341, DSGN 442<\/p>\n<p>DSGN 447, DSGN 448, DSGN 495<\/p>\n<p>Total Hours Required for BS in Interior Design ______ 45 hours<\/p>\n<p>Fine Print: Art hours transferred may not exceed 24 of the 45 required art hours for the BFA degree; at least 24 advanced\u00a0studio hours must be taken at ACU.  Furthermore, 25% of all hours taken and the last 24 hours taken must be taken at\u00a0ACU.
