{"id":1956,"date":"2011-05-03T10:45:12","date_gmt":"2011-05-03T15:45:12","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/blogs.acu.edu\/artanddesign\/?p=1956"},"modified":"2011-05-03T10:45:12","modified_gmt":"2011-05-03T15:45:12","slug":"important-information-on-summer-courses","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/blogs.acu.edu\/artanddesign\/2011\/05\/03\/important-information-on-summer-courses\/","title":{"rendered":"Important Information on Summer Courses"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>Art &amp; Design Students,<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Summer courses are fast approaching and in order for you to better plan your summer, please read the following information.<\/p>\n<p>In order for a summer studio course to be taught it must have an enrollment between 8-10 students.\u00a0\u00a0If a course falls below 8 students on, or before the first day of class the university will likely cancel it.\u00a0Please use your judgment and\/or discuss with me to decide whether or not to drop a course and enroll in something else.<\/p>\n<p>Here are the enrollments in Art\/Design as of today.\u00a0\u00a0If some of these enrollments do not increase soon they will likely be canceled.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Summer 1<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>ART 111-Basic Drawing and ART 314 Advanced Drawing\u00a0 -These two classes are taught together and have an enrollment of 15<\/p>\n<p>ART 291- Intro to B&amp;W Photography \u2013 enrollment 5<\/p>\n<p>ART 331\/332\/433\/434-Sculpture I\/II\/III\/IV \u2013 enrollment is 14<\/p>\n<p>ART 341\/443\/444-Painting I\/III\/IV- enrollment 8<\/p>\n<p>ART 352-Digital Graphic Tech-enrollment 0<\/p>\n<p>ART 487-Art for Elementary Teachers- enrollment 9<\/p>\n<p>DSGN 440 \u2013Furniture Design-enrollment 1<\/p>\n<p><strong>Summer 2<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>ART 112\/213\/314 \u2013Figure Drawing I\/II\/Advanced \u2013 enrollment 13<\/p>\n<p>ART 440-Digital Photography \u2013enrollment 6<\/p>\n<p><strong>Summer 3<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>ART 440-Advanced Photography-enrollment 3<\/p>\n<p><strong>Summer 4<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>ART 440- Raku Ceramics \u2013enrollment 6<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Art &amp; Design Students, Summer courses are fast approaching and in order for you to better plan your summer, please read the following information.
