Two Interior Design Seniors grabbed awards at the ASID Student Symposium Fall Boot Camp, held in Dallas, TX on October 14-15, 2011. \u00a0 Students from 15 collegiate interior design programs attended the two day event. Melanie Bartholomew, received a $1500 Scholarship. She also won Second Place for One Unique Space which portrayed her original architectural design for Mission Lazarus,\u00a0 a church in Honduras. Not surprisingly, Melanie received a trophy for her Second Place participation on-site in Speed Charette Design Teams.<\/p>\n

Senior Interior Design major, Haley Buffington, received three trophies as well as $500 and other perks. Haley was named first place winner in the Hospitality division for her entry, \u201cSoul Hotel”. Haley also won both First and Second Place in the Commercial Design Division for the \u201ce-motion<\/em> Wellness Center\u201d and the women\u2019s professional clothing store, \u201cC\u2019est si Beau\u201d.<\/p>\n
