{"id":3308,"date":"2012-09-27T15:06:48","date_gmt":"2012-09-27T20:06:48","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/blogs.acu.edu\/artanddesign\/?p=3308"},"modified":"2012-09-27T15:20:54","modified_gmt":"2012-09-27T20:20:54","slug":"job-openings","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/blogs.acu.edu\/artanddesign\/2012\/09\/27\/job-openings\/","title":{"rendered":"Job Openings"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The Art &amp; Design Department is looking to fill these positions in the local community:<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Game Animation Artist<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><em>I&#8217;m simply looking for an artist, a partner, to use my character designs and build sprites.<\/em><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>familiar with animation concepts<\/li>\n<li>able to capture basic human movement<\/li>\n<li>can use reference art for\u00a0unification of the style being presented throughout the game design process<\/li>\n<li>have some experience playing 2D fighters is\u00a0appreciated but that is not a deal breaker<\/li>\n<li>I do wish the artist to have an understanding of the scale desired for this project.\u00a0My aim is to have the finish product rival the initial Street Fighter 2 or Marvel-vs- Capcom 2D games. The animation should be detailed enough to\u00a0convince\u00a0players the movements are justified as well as keeping a frame rate considerably<\/li>\n<li>I&#8217;ve included a sprite sheet link which capture what my version in terms of scale:\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/www.nes-snes-sprites.com\/ImagesSheet\/SuperStreetFighter2TurboSheet8.gif\" target=\"_blank\">http:\/\/www.nes-snes-sprites.com\/ImagesSheet\/SuperStreetFighter2TurboSheet8.gif<\/a>.
