Congratulations to Interior Design Seniors who won awards at the ASID 2012 Texas Chapter Student Symposium, held in Dallas, TX on October 5-6, 2012. \u00a0Students from collegiate interior design programs all over Texas attended the two day event. Junior Interior Design student,\u00a0Gracie Ferreyro was recognized as one of the 2012 Kathy Parr Hammond Memorial Scholarship recipients and took home a $1500 scholarship.<\/p>\n

Seniors, Nicole Dorsey and Chad Morre won First Place for their collaborative design of N. Morangie, an upscale retail store design. They each took home a trophy and a shared $250 cash prize.<\/p>\n

Nicole Dorsey also won Second Place for her Commercial design of Intriepid Travel Agency.<\/p>\n

Senior Interior Design student, Jillian Dowdy was named the First Place winner of the Hospitality Division for her Luminesce Hotel Design. Jillian took home a trophy and $250 cash prize.<\/p>\n

Senior Interior Design student, Morgan Hudson received a trophy and Second Place for her Merse Boutique Hotel Design.<\/p>\n
