\u00a0We even have a research department studying the effects of artwork on people in hospitals. \u00a0My job as a Project Coordinator in the consulting department, involves daily communication with clients, including CEO\u2019s, architects, interior designers, project managers, and art committee members. \u00a0I treat each project uniquely, paying special attention to budget, theme, timeline, art placement, desired media, finishes, and the client\u2019s wants and needs. \u00a0Once the consulting aspect of the project is complete, I oversee the production of the custom-made frames as well as the installation.<img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-medium wp-image-502\" src=\"http:\/\/blogs.acu.edu\/artanddesign\/files\/2009\/12\/childrens-23-230x197.jpg\" alt=\"childrens 2\" width=\"230\" height=\"197\" srcset=\"https:\/\/blogs.acu.edu\/artanddesign\/files\/2009\/12\/childrens-23-230x197.jpg 230w, https:\/\/blogs.acu.edu\/artanddesign\/files\/2009\/12\/childrens-23-150x128.jpg 150w, https:\/\/blogs.acu.edu\/artanddesign\/files\/2009\/12\/childrens-23.jpg 472w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 230px) 100vw, 230px\" \/><\/p>\n<p>My team and I recently completed Niswonger Children\u2019s Hospital in Tennessee. \u00a0The client wanted to focus on community involvement and interest in the new facility. \u00a0I spear-headed numerous children\u2019s art workshops in their service region in order to obtain community produced children\u2019s artwork. \u00a0We accumulated over 1,000 pieces and were able to install about 250. \u00a0Many of the pictures shown in this posting are of this particular project. \u00a0I am currently working on Texas Children\u2019s Hospital here in Houston, as well as other projects around the United States.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-medium wp-image-503\" src=\"http:\/\/blogs.acu.edu\/artanddesign\/files\/2009\/12\/Kites1-230x191.jpg\" alt=\"Kites\" width=\"230\" height=\"191\" srcset=\"https:\/\/blogs.acu.edu\/artanddesign\/files\/2009\/12\/Kites1-230x191.jpg 230w, https:\/\/blogs.acu.edu\/artanddesign\/files\/2009\/12\/Kites1-150x124.jpg 150w, https:\/\/blogs.acu.edu\/artanddesign\/files\/2009\/12\/Kites1.jpg 480w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 230px) 100vw, 230px\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Like I said, my job is very entertaining as well as purposeful. \u00a0I couldn\u2019t imagine a better job!<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left\">\n<p style=\"text-align: left\">\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Hello, ACU Art and Design &#8211; This is what I do!
