Halloween A&D Costume-Palooza – Students and Faculty!<\/b><\/span><\/p>\n

Dress up\u00a0on Friday\u00a0in your Halloween costume and swing by the Art and Design office area for treats!\u00a0 Even if you don’t have classes over here\u00a0on Friday\u00a0it’s a great excuse to wear a costume all day, “we have costume dress up day in the Art Department, you know how we are….”<\/p>\n

Join your fellow Art and Design students in 141 at\u00a011am this Thursday\u00a0to hear from Nil Santana in our Shift series. Attend 2 Art Chapels and write up 2 Art Event Credits.<\/div>\n

Study Abroad Show at the Downtown Gallery\u00a0–\u00a0THIS Thursday<\/b><\/b>!<\/b><\/span><\/p>\n

Postcards from Abroad, a show hosted by the Study Abroad students, will open\u00a0this Thursday at 5:30pm\u00a0in the Downtown Gallery.\u00a0 The talk begins at\u00a05:50pm.\u00a0 Support your friends who went on the Art and Design Summer Study Abroad program and earn your Art Event credits.<\/div>\n

The Big Country Art Association is a regional collective of artists whose work reflects the stunning diversity of artistic talent in west central Texas. This juried exhibition is open to all Big Country artists, amateur and professional, 18 years and older. Work in any medium (painting, drawing, photography, sculpture, ceramics) is welcome. You may enter a maximum of 3 pieces. The ACU Downtown Gallery, located at 1133 North 2nd St. in downtown Abilene, hosts the Fall 2014 Exhibition from\u00a0Nov. 13\u2013Dec. 6: gallery hours are\u00a0Noon-3PM, Wednesday-Saturday.<\/p>\n

ENTRY FEES:<\/b><\/p>\n

Standard Fees —————\u00a0<\/b>$25 for first artwork, $10 for additional work.<\/p>\n

Students ———————-\u00a0<\/b>$20 for first artwork, $10 for each additional work.<\/p>\n

Please pay attention to Summer Course information listed below the class information on the look up classes menu in my.acu when selecting courses.\u00a0 What are the dates of the class and be prepared for whichever term you have selected?\u00a0 What is the location? Abilene, Dallas, Oxford, or online because you don’t want to sign up for a CORE class that is being taught at CitySquare when you intended for an Online version.\u00a0 Your advisor might have once flown from Amarillo to Dallas to take a weekend ACU course that she thought was at the Dallas campus and it was actually in Abilene….the rest of that story is worth hearing so ask me sometime.
