Contact Kitty Wasemiller<br \/>\nwasemillerk@acu.edu or EXT 2087<\/p>\n<p><strong>Fall Registration:<\/strong> Registration starts at 3:00pm on April. 5th.\u00a0 Contact your advisor to get your advising code.\u00a0 If you don\u2019t know who your advisor is a list will be posted on the window of DM 142.\u00a0 It is strongly recommended that all juniors and seniors run a degree evaluation before registering for fall.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Shore Art Gallery:<\/strong> Senior Show \u201cHUE N0.5\u201d featuring: Lisette Simmons, Alina Ernst, Grant Hamilton, Lerium Gonzalez and Emily Taege will open on March 26th at 6:00pm.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Cockerell Art Gallery:<\/strong> Senior Show \u201cFork in the Road\u201d featuring: Sarah Boyd, Corbin Cawyer, Melody Lessly, Blythe Peden, Jennifer Rhea and Vanessa Whitt will open March 11thth at 5:00pm.<\/p>\n<p><strong>32nd Annual Art &amp; Design Student Competition:<\/strong> All Artwork is due in Don Morris 142 on April 12th by 5:00pm.\u00a0 Reception and Awards Ceremony will be on Friday, April 16th at 5:30pm in the Shore Art Gallery.<br \/>\nAll work for the Student Competition will hang in the gallery through the summer.\u00a0 Work not selected for the show may be displayed in the library, the hallways, the Fatted Cafe or University offices unless you indicate otherwise.\u00a0 Read page 22 in your student handbook for Entry Categories, awards and procedures for submitting your work.<\/p>\n<p><strong>First and Second Year Student Reviews: <\/strong> This process will take place April 29, 30th.\u00a0\u00a0 The evaluation will consist of a brief session during which the faculty will review the student&#8217;s portfolio, grade records, event attendance, competition entries, and the like.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 A sign up sheet will be placed in the window of Don Morris 142.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Check out the ART\/DESIGN BLOG at<\/strong><br \/>\nhttp:\/\/blogs.acu.edu\/artanddesign.\u00a0 You can find information about news and events, senior shows, what\u2019s going on at the galleries, chapel, student competitions, first&amp;second year reviews, art event credits and the Student Handbook.\u00a0 It is very important for you to download and look at your student handbook.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Art &amp; Design News Art &amp; Design Chapel: April 1st.- Seniors: Lisette Simmons, Alina Ernst, Grant Hamilton, Lerium Gonzalez and Emily Taege will be speaking in the Shore Art Gallery.
