Good article, but gets one thing wrong.\u00a0 The article is about piracy, and armed contractors having a great record against such (i.e., Somali pirates).\u00a0 But the article neglects to include the two acts by Iran against ships in the past several days as piracy–state-sponsored piracy.\u00a0 That is what it is as defined by international relations and international law.\u00a0 “Why was a British security guard on the ship Iran attacked? \u2013 analysis,\u201d<\/a> Michael Starr, August 7, 2021.<\/p>\n

Keep in mind two things, consistent with these events go down at other times, also.\u00a0 First, Iran never\/rarely addresses the facts\/evidence of an attack.\u00a0 It just gives a blanket denial.\u00a0 Second, Iran\u2019s idea of \u201csecurity\u201d is not what you and I assume when we think of peace for a region\/several countries\u2014Iran thinks of \u201csecurity\u201d as what is good for the Regime, so \u201csecurity\u201d can actually for the IRI be instability and terror for others.\u00a0 Yes, this is a twisted use of the word.\u00a0 \u201cIran denies role in tanker attack, says seeks Gulf security,\u201d<\/a> WHBL, August 7, 2021.<\/p>\n
