Rouhani).\u00a0 I know, this is shocking, but explains why so many high officials in Iran are now infected and one already dead.\u00a0 I\u2019m sure the Supreme Leader is now paranoid for himself.\u00a0 <a href=\"https:\/\/www.nbcnews.com\/health\/health-news\/why-iran-s-reported-mortality-rate-coronavirus-higher-other-countries-n1142646\">\u201cWhy is Iran&#8217;s reported mortality rate for coronavirus higher than in other countries?,\u201d<\/a> Dan De Luce, NBC, February 25, 2020.\u00a0\u00a0As this story reports, \u201cIran&#8217;s reported mortality rate for the illness \u2014 about 16 percent \u2014 surpasses the rate for other countries by a dramatic margin.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Why won&#8217;t they close the 11,000 shrines, and encourage Iranians and Shiites to continue to visit?\u00a0 The reason is cash.\u00a0 Admission fees, donations, etc. are critical to the imams\u2019 income, so they don\u2019t want to close the thousands of shrines in Iran (and Iraq), despite the health risks of everyone touching the same grills and bars and some who kiss those things during rituals and visits.\u00a0 <a href=\"https:\/\/www.voanews.com\/middle-east\/iranian-clerics-keep-shrines-open-even-virus-spreads\">\u201cIranian Clerics Keep Shrines Open, Even As Virus Spreads,\u201d<\/a> AP, February 25, 2020.\u00a0 It is more important to give donations than to have good health.<\/p>\n<p>Iran and Russia have signed many contracts in recent years, for billions of dollars; none of them have materialized.\u00a0 So it is not surprise that Russia would back out again\u2014Iran is not predictable.\u00a0 <a href=\"https:\/\/en.radiofarda.com\/a\/russia-pulls-out-of-1-3-billion-railway-project-with-iran\/30456621.html\">\u201cRussia Pulls Out Of $1.3 Billion Railway Project With Iran,\u201d<\/a> Radio Farda, February 26, 2020.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.upi.com\/Top_News\/Voices\/2020\/02\/27\/Irans-elections-were-a-sham\/7241582810593\">\u201cIran\u2019s elections were a sham,\u201d<\/a> Struan Stevenson, UPI, February 27, 2020.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.middleeastmonitor.com\/20200227-iran-cleric-encourages-visitors-to-qom-religious-sites-despite-coronavirus-fears\">&#8220;Iran cleric encourages visitors to Qom religious sites, despite coronavirus fears,\u201d<\/a> Middle East Monitor, February 27, 2020.<\/p>\n<p>Listen to what this important doctor says about the cover-up\/mismanagement:\u00a0 \u201cWe think that this virus has been in Iran for the past three to four weeks and has circulated throughout the country.
