This fall the ACU Theatre presents a featured Cornerstone Production directed by Kari Hatfield. A cast of ACU students will perform Dead Man’s Cell Phone<\/em>\u00a0by Sarah Ruhl on November 17-22 at 7:30 p.m. in Fulks Theatre, including a talk-back discussion with the actors and director each evening following the musical.<\/p>\n

When Jean answers the cell phone of a recently deceased caf\u00e9 patron, she holds on to the device to keep the man alive in a strange yet significant way. Jean\u2019s quiet life is turned upside-down as she\u2019s thrust into a world of mysterious strangers, shady business deals, and the potential for true love. A story about memory, redemption, and connection \u2013 and disconnection \u2013 in a technology-obsessed world, Ruhl\u2019s comedy is a mesmerizing reflection of today.<\/em><\/p>\n
