The Digital Media Center has enjoyed working with faculty in the Cornerstone class to produce the podcasts for the Portal this semester. We have knowledgeable student staff available downstairs in the library to help on any media project.
The following short podcast was produced by Sandra Amstutz to help any Cornerstone students recording their first audio podcast. Though individual students are welcome to create more complex audio or video pieces, the main thrust of this final assignment isn’t the media package but the quality of the message you share with your class.
iPod Touch Users: You can record audio on your iPod touch as long as you have a microphone. Some Apple earbuds come with an in-line microphone. If you can’t find one, drop by the DMC to borrow an iPod mic from us.
If you have additional questions on this or a future assignment, the Digital Media Center is located downstairs in the library and and open most afternoons:
Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday, 1-7 pm
Wednesday and Friday, 12-5 pm

One response to “Recording an Audio Podcast”
This project was the first time i had to a “podcast”. At first it seemed kind of hard, seeing as how i’ve never done it before. When I actually tried it wasnt had at all but kind of fun hearing yourself.
