Sheryl WuDunn, journalist and author, has recently published (with Nick Kristof) the book Half the Sky<\/em>, which looks at the global oppression of women. In this talk at the TED conference, she discusses a first-hand account of witnessing how the education of one girl in China changed the future of that girl\u2019s family and village. From this account, WuDunn urges us to think critically about the treatment of women worldwide.<\/p>\n
