The New Finds Greek manuscript appears to have been copied in about the seventh century, making it the oldest known witness to the <em>Ladder<\/em>\u00a0and the point of departure for any thorough study of Climacus&#8217; text, for which no critical edition yet exists.<\/p>\n<p>CSART is grateful to St. Catharine&#8217;s Monastery for making this crucial witness\u00a0available to its Fellows and Student Scholars as they conduct research on it in pursuit of expanding our knowledge of Climacus and this valuable text.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<p><a href=\"#_ftnref1\" name=\"_ftn1\">[1]<\/a> Georgi R.
