Kyle Dickson Meet: Taylor Schmitt
Taylor Schmitt is a senior at ACU and a member of the Honors College.
Over the course of his time here, he has been involved with The Shinnery Review as both staff member and editor, with the Alpha Chi Honors Society, and with Sing Song, on occasion. During the fall of 2011, Taylor participated in the CCCU’s Scholars’ Semester in Oxford program where he was involved with the University of Oxford’s LGBTQSoc.
Since returning to Abilene, he has been involved with the publication of Voice and its associated group for students in Abilene.
Taylor currently works as a teacher’s assistant for Dr. Debbie Williams, and upon graduation, he hopes to attend graduate school before pursuing a career as a professor.
