What is ACU Esports?
ACU Esports is the central hub for competitive gaming at Abilene Christian University. We strive to connect players to tournaments and opportunities for competition in the collegiate scene.
What games do you compete in?
Currently, we have teams in Rocket League, Rainbow 6: Seige, Overwatch, Fortnite, and Super Smash Bros. Ultimate for the 2022 Fall semester.
In the past, we have had teams in Hearthstone, Valorant, League of Legends, and Call of Duty.
Where is the ACU Esports room located?
Currently, our room is located just left of the Campus Center’s ATM. This is left of the World Famous Bean and the bathrooms. A video showcasing the room can be found here: **VIDEO BEING PRODUCED**
How do I get in contact/involved with ACUE?
Our discord is the best way to get in contact with our officers and captains, however, feel free to DM any of us as well on any platform.
There are numerous ways to get involved with ACU Esports. We are looking for players, coaches, casters, writers, streamers, and more. If you are interested in join ACUE fill out our interest form here.
Where do members of ACU Esports compete?
Tournaments and scrimmages are held mostly online, any practices, meetings, or events that are in person are always socially distanced and follow ACU rules. Pre-Covid had us competing at different colleges and venues for Super Smash Bros. tournaments. In the past teams like Overwatch even traveled to esports stadiums.
