February 4th was the first tournament of the 2021 Spring semester for ACUE’s varsity Rocket League team.
ACU Purple’s run started with a bye in the first round. Straight into quarter-finals they promptly 2-0’d “Bros and Toes”. Then 3-0’d team “Bots” in the Semifinals. The finals looked good at first, having won the first two games ACU Purple looked to close out the set with a 1-0 lead in the third game. In the end, SFA Lumberjacks took the win ending the set 3-2. ACU Purple with the second-place finish won Hyper X headsets.
