• Simple living from a Christian perspective, written by people who live it out: Free: Spending Your Time and Money on What Matter Most, by Mark Scandrette (IVP, 2013)

• A good (but difficult) read on the theology of stewardship is by R. Scott Rodin, Stewards in the Kingdom: A Theology of Life in All Its Fullness (IVP Academic, 2000).

• A great book on connecting our work with God’s work is by Timothy Keller, Every Good Endeavor (Dutton, 2012).

• Investing advice, especially regarding retirement investing: by James O’Donnell, The Shortest Book Ever on Saving for Retirement (Northfield Publishing, 2010).
