{"id":10672,"date":"2023-04-10T11:34:51","date_gmt":"2023-04-10T16:34:51","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/blogs.acu.edu\/hr\/?p=10672"},"modified":"2023-04-10T11:34:51","modified_gmt":"2023-04-10T16:34:51","slug":"onsite-biometric-screening-2","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/blogs.acu.edu\/hr\/2023\/04\/10\/onsite-biometric-screening-2\/","title":{"rendered":"Onsite Biometric Screening"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>If you are enrolled in ACU\u2019s medical plan and want an easy way to earn your credit for receiving your biometric screening, please schedule an appointment for one of our on-site screenings.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Reminder: All employees and spouses enrolled in ACU\u2019s medical plan for 2023 must complete a biometric screening &amp; annual physical with their physician by 9\/30\/23 to avoid the wellness premium surcharge in 2024.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Onsite Screening Dates and Times:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>ACU (Abilene) \u2013 Hunter Welcome Center Reeves Conference Room April 19th \u2013 21st: 7:30-12:00pm<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>There are two ways to register for your appointment &#8211; through Mobile Health or the link provided in the attached flyer for <a href=\"https:\/\/scheduler.ehealthscreenings.com\/login\">eHealthScreenings<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>REMEMBER: You must fast (no food) for 9 hours before your appointment. Please drink plenty of water. Black coffee is permitted. Continue to take any prescription medications. If you are diabetic, please consult your physician before fasting.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>If you are not able to attend one of the onsite screenings, whether you are a remote employee or due to a schedule conflict, there is a form on the eHealth website to download for you to complete your screening with your physician. Follow the steps to schedule a screening to access the form.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>To earn your 2024 Wellness Discount, employees and spouses enrolled in an ACU medical plan need to have an annual exam and biometric screening completed by September 30, 2023.
