They are offering both Adult and Youth MHFA.\u00a0 Below you can find the Eventbrite registration link.\u00a0 After registration ends, participants will be contacted with further instructions regarding creating an account in MHFA Connect, which is where participants will complete a pre eval, opinions quiz, final test, course evaluation, and download their certificate.\u00a0\u00a0 This is also where participants will complete the required <strong>2 hrs of prework if they choose to attend one of the virtual MHFA classes.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400\">The course is free of charge due to some grant funding.\u00a0 And in case you are wondering what MHFA is, it is a course that teaches how to recognize signs and symptoms of a mental health challenge and provides skills on how to provide initial assistance until professional help is achieved or the crisis resolves.\u00a0 Class size is limited.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400\">Fully in person\u00a0<u>Adult<\/u>\u00a0MHFA on\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.eventbrite.com\/e\/adult-mental-health-first-aid-registration-678107296177?aff=oddtdtcreator\"><strong>September 27<\/strong><\/a>\u00a0 (registration ends on September 12)<\/p>\n<ul style=\"font-weight: 400\">\n<li>Class will be in person from 8am-5pm (approximately)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400\">Fully in person\u00a0<u>Youth\u00a0<\/u>MHFA on\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.eventbrite.com\/e\/youth-mental-health-first-aid-registration-678120034277?aff=oddtdtcreator\"><strong>October 17<\/strong><\/a>\u00a0(registration ends October 1)<\/p>\n<ul style=\"font-weight: 400\">\n<li>Class will be in person from 8am-5pm (approximately)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400\">Virtual Adult MHFA on\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.eventbrite.com\/e\/virtual-adult-mental-health-first-aid-registration-678123855707?aff=oddtdtcreator\"><strong>October 24<\/strong><\/a> \u00a0 (registration ends October 1)<\/p>\n<ul style=\"font-weight: 400\">\n<li>Class will be in person from 9am-3pm (approximately)<\/li>\n<li>Completion of 2 hrs of self-paced online prework is required prior to the day of class.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400\">Virtual Youth MHFA on\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.eventbrite.com\/e\/virtual-youth-mental-health-first-aid-registration-678128309027?aff=oddtdtcreator\"><strong>November 14<\/strong><\/a>\u00a0(registration ends October 20)<\/p>\n<ul style=\"font-weight: 400\">\n<li>Class will be in person from 9am-2:30pm (approximately)<\/li>\n<li>Completion of 2 hrs of self-paced online prework is required prior to the day of class.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The Betty Hardwick Center is excited to be able to offer Mental Health First Aid classes.
