{"id":11203,"date":"2024-02-19T08:32:43","date_gmt":"2024-02-19T14:32:43","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/blogs.acu.edu\/hr\/?p=11203"},"modified":"2024-02-19T08:32:43","modified_gmt":"2024-02-19T14:32:43","slug":"funeral-services-terry-bowman","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/blogs.acu.edu\/hr\/2024\/02\/19\/funeral-services-terry-bowman\/","title":{"rendered":"Funeral Services &#8211; Terry Bowman"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>We are saddened by the passing of <strong><span class=\"il\">Terry<\/span>\u00a0<span class=\"il\">Bowman<\/span><\/strong>, director of off-campus properties for the Abilene Christian Investment Management Company (ACIMCO), after battling multiple forms of cancer in recent months.<\/p>\n<p><span class=\"il\">Terry<\/span>, 59, has been part of the ACU community for more than 30 years, first as a plumber, and for the last 14 years supervising ACU\u2019s off-campus rental properties. His wife, Mary, is an employee of HES, ACU\u2019s facilities management company.\u00a0<span class=\"il\">Terry<\/span>\u00a0was a diligent, committed staff member, and colleagues recall his genuine care for students who lived in the properties he managed.<\/p>\n<p>The funeral is scheduled for Saturday, February 24, 2024, at 2:00 p.m. at the Hillcrest Church of Christ.<\/p>\n<p>Please join us in praying for Mary, their children and grandchildren, their extended family, and the ACIMCO staff.<\/p>\n<p>ACU\u2019s flag is flying at half-staff in\u00a0<span class=\"il\">Terry<\/span>\u2019s memory.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>We are saddened by the passing of Terry\u00a0Bowman, director of off-campus properties for the Abilene Christian Investment Management Company (ACIMCO), after battling multiple forms of cancer in recent months.
