March 31st through April 6th is Severe Weather Awareness Week.\u00a0City of Abilene Emergency Management<\/a>\u00a0will participate in the annual National Weather Service (NWS)\u00a0tornado\u00a0drill\u00a0taking place on Wednesday, April 3, 2024, at 10 am. During this time, Abilene Emergency Management will send a county-wide\u00a0Tornado\u00a0Drill\u00a0notification via their CodeRED mass notification system. ACU will not host a university-wide\u00a0tornado\u00a0drill, but we do ask that you please visit the\u00a0NWS Safety<\/a>\u00a0website<\/span>\u00a0and\u00a0NWS\u00a0Tornado\u00a0Safety<\/a>\u00a0website for weather preparedness resources.
