{"id":1188,"date":"2012-10-29T09:18:12","date_gmt":"2012-10-29T14:18:12","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/blogs.acu.edu\/hr\/?p=1188"},"modified":"2012-10-29T09:18:12","modified_gmt":"2012-10-29T14:18:12","slug":"get-your-w-2-faster","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/blogs.acu.edu\/hr\/2012\/10\/29\/get-your-w-2-faster\/","title":{"rendered":"Get Your W-2 Faster!"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><span style=\"color: #333333;font-family: Helvetica, Arial, sans-serif\">Did you know that if you elect to receive your W-2 electronically, you will receive it up to <strong>15 days<\/strong> faster than if you receive it by snail mail? \u00a0Additional advantages to receiving an electronic W-2 include helping the University save paper, printing, and postage expenses, reducing the risk of identity theft that could occur due to your social security number being sent through the mail, and helping our environment by not wasting paper. \u00a0To sign up for an electronic W-2, please follow these easy instructions:<\/span><\/p>\n<div>\n<ul>\n<li>log in to banner self service (<a href=\"http:\/\/acu.us1.list-manage.com\/track\/click?u=30e52e6e60a1fd7c57f2fd55b&amp;id=42cfba811a&amp;e=9efcbc3564\" target=\"_blank\">my.acu.edu<\/a>, click on &#8220;banner&#8221; at the top)<\/li>\n<li>click on &#8220;Employee&#8221;<\/li>\n<li>click on &#8220;Tax Forms&#8221;<\/li>\n<li>click on &#8220;Electronic\u00a0W-2\u00a0Consent&#8221;<\/li>\n<li>click on &#8220;Update&#8221; in the bottom center of your screen<\/li>\n<li>Place a check in the box to consent, then hit submit.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Please note, a confirmation screen will not appear. To make sure your election saved, please click on the link at the bottom of the page that says &#8220;Return to Tax Forms Menu&#8221;, then click on &#8220;Electronic\u00a0W-2\u00a0Consent&#8221; again.
