{"id":12451,"date":"2026-02-06T09:24:28","date_gmt":"2026-02-06T15:24:28","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/blogs.acu.edu\/hr\/?p=12451"},"modified":"2026-02-06T09:24:57","modified_gmt":"2026-02-06T15:24:57","slug":"inclement-weather-2","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/blogs.acu.edu\/hr\/2026\/02\/06\/inclement-weather-2\/","title":{"rendered":"Reporting time for Inclement Weather"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Due to the inclement weather on Monday, January 26 through Wednesday, January 28th, please see the following information regarding submitting time:<\/p>\n<p><b>Non-Exempt employees<\/b> Will go into their timesheet and log as normal, but instead of the time type &#8220;worked time&#8221; they will need to click the related actions icon to log it as &#8220;Inclement Weather&#8221;. Non-Exempt employees who worked during the closure, including checking work email and voice mail, should record the time worked as &#8220;worked time&#8221; and the remainder of their <em>regular schedule<\/em>\u00a0as\u00a0inclement\u00a0weather.<\/p>\n<p><b>Exempt employees<\/b>\u00a0need not take any action due to the weather.<\/p>\n<p><em><b>Note<\/b>:<\/em><em>\u00a0Employees already taking vacation days should still record the time off as vacation<\/em><em>,<\/em><em>\u00a0not inclement weather.<\/em><\/p>\n<p>Each department needs to decide how to handle its\u00a0<b>student employees<\/b>. Departments may: 1) allow students to work extra hours to make up the time missed, 2) pay your student employees their regularly scheduled hours during the closure.
