You may receive a test message through ACU Alert and hear the outdoor notification system. All communications will clearly state: \u201cThis is only a test.\u201d No action is required. If a real emergency occurs at the time of the test, the test will be canceled or clearly communicated as a real alert with specific instructions. Note that this test is separate from the City of Abilene\u2019s annual tornado drill scheduled for Wednesday, April 1, at 10 a.m. ACU will not conduct a campus wide tornado drill, but Abilene citizens may receive a City of Abilene community alert that morning.
